Chances are you’ve already heard of Aion. Released back in September, it was touted as the biggest massively multiplayer online game launch of the year. At nearly 450,000 preorders, it started off a little rocky (what MMO doesn’t?) and publisher NCsoft had to employ a 16,000-player ban-fest back in November. With upgrades to the game’s already-stunning graphics engine slated for 2010, Aion is a strong contender as MMO-of-choice under the tree this holiday season.

About a month ago, Ncsoft’s massively multiplayer online (MMO) game Aion went live in North America and Europe, following a successful launch in the Asian market. So far, the game continues to soar as Ncsoft nears its one millionth unit sold.

According to Taiwan media, about 200 AION (a most popular online game) players accused the game company of banning and deleting their accounts without providing any proof. Not only the in-game treasures have been withdrawn, but also the rest money in the stored-value card could not be refunded. It is unreasonable!

It’s hard to believe that any game developer would want to take on the Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) supergiant World of Warcraft, but NCsoft is up to the challenge.

NCsoft has designed Aion to give the player a wide variety of customization options when it comes to their characters. Players can easily mold their character’s face and body structure with a multitude of sliders, easily manipulating nearly every aspect of their physical appearance. They can also choose from a selection of hairstyles, facial hair types, and skin tones.

Aion offers a choice of four classes for starting players, who then at level 10 advance to two further specialized classes.
